this week i planned my first “meetup” event. we went to the Centre de Cultura Contemporania de Barcelona (CCCB), to see an exhibition called Fronteres (Borders). the exhibition was designed as a journey through passage ways [...]

actually “nits de MACBA” means nights of art at Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona. it is a pretty cool museum. we started out the night with some drinks on their rooftop terrace, with Magrite-esque umbrellas and candles in glass everywhere. i like a museum that lets you get drunk before the exhibit.

I don’t mean in the christian salvation way….I mean I saw Jesus walking down the street in a burlap tunic carrying a nice leather briefcase. Not exactly something you see everyday….a scrubby looking guy wearing next to nothing looking as though he has given away all his worldly possessions, well all but the briefcase. [...]
